Encouraging Each Other

As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning.  When Moses'  hands grew weary, Aaron took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands - one on the one side, one on the other side - so that his hands remained steady till the going down of the sun.  So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.                                         Exodus 17:11-12

Songs in the night

Calming words. Healing words. Hopeful words.  Encouraging words.  Joyful words.  Peace.

As I found myself in the valley of the shadow of death, with a shattered heart,  no hope left, wishing that I would die,  I heard a soft voice whispering my name.  As my Lord gently picked me up and held me close to His heart, He calmed my anguished soul with His healing words.  His words of hope then encouraged me to  shout out words of joy, as a peace came over my soul.

I have found that in the darkest of nights, He gives me songs of joy to comfort my soul as the dawn begins to shine.

My Hearts Desire

My hearts desire is to walk beside you, my sister, in your times of heartbreak, of sadness, of disappointment, of broken dreams, of fears. In times of confusion, loneliness, frustration, indecision, depression.  To be a shoulder to cry on, to be a listening ear, to pray together.  I also desire to rejoice together, to praise our great God together, to laugh together, to encourage one another! My desire is for US to come along beside our weary sister and lift her hands till victory is won!

So, it begins!  Start praying faith warriors!
